Job Description :

HP leads the server industry with its ProLiant line of industry standard servers and Smart Array storage products.  Firmware validation engineers play an integral role in testing and delivering industry leading server and storage products and solutions to the market.  With an expanding product line encompassing tower, rack, blade, and scalable systems, HP is looking for talent that can play a critical role in delivering quality solutions to its customers.

The position offers the qualified candidate the opportunity to work in an exciting, high profile, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment. You will support product teams to help identify and debug issues and effectively communicate, document, and track status and issue resolution as it relates to overall product quality. The position includes working with the latest in hardware and software technology and provides excellent opportunities to gain a wide breadth of experience.

Qualifications

Education

·         Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

Experience and knowledge

·         Programming skills in C, C++ and assembly language.

·         Strong firmware, software, and hardware background.

·         Knowledge of computer architecture.

·         Knowledge of OS architecture.

·         Knowledge of industry standards including PCI/PCI-express, SAS, USB, ACPI, IPMI, SMBIOS, UEFI and/or SRIOV is a plus.
